The following educational conferences are shared between pulmonary & critical care fellowship and critical care medicine fellowship
Pulmonary Conferences
We have a diverse collection of educational conferences meant to engage you in a variety of formats and forums. In addition to attending the critical care conferences (see below), fellows also receive expert instruction on core concepts in pulmonary medicine, emerging literature, radiology, and more. We utilize different formats like simulation, rad-path, journal club, interactive case conferences, and expert staff lectures to provide you with the optimum learning experience.
Critical Care Conferences
Monthly Didactics: Each month, Critical Care Fellows have the opportunity to spend a full day exploring core topics in critical care medicine during Education and Practice days. During these days, clinical services are fully covered by staff physicians so that learning is uninterrupted. We also have the privilege of inviting local, national and internationally renowned content experts to join us each month for the Education or Practice day. These interactions provide additional opportunities for fellows to receive coaching and mentorship from leaders in the field or critical care medicine.

Weekly Educational Conferences: In addition to Education and Practice Days, fellows are required to attend a series of one-hour conferences throughout the week, each with a specific educational objective. Along with reviewing emerging themes in critical care medicine, these conferences also provide fellows with the opportunity to take a deep dive into areas such as ventilator management, echocardiography, and critical care pathophysiology. To keep things interesting, fellows present topics in multiple formats from journal clubs, to pro-con debates, classic papers in critical care, ethics forums and others.
Summary of Conferences
